Catalyst (Aran Kelly) |
Aran Kelly (aka Catalyst) is the coach of Youth Society-spoken word group. With 13 years as a spoken word poet and 13 years as an on air radio host/DJ. Kelly has recently released a poetry EP available for FREE online that he wrote, produced, and recorded. Kelly holds a MA in recording from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, a MA in Special Education from GCU, and a BA in Communication from ASU. Kelly cites family as his greatest influence. Aran has learned a lot from his family and friends about art, music, life in general; he has traveled all over the world experiencing many different cultures and ways of life. Catalyst is well respected by his peers and enjoys giving back to those who help themselves. About Youth Society, Kelly is quoted as having said, “I am in your corner and I want you to win.” |

His raps often have a quirky flow and appealing lyrical assonance. He's not one to give up on his dreams.
